Initially, the carrier planned to consolidate its position in the domestic market before launching international services to the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. US-Bangla Airlines is a subsidiary of the US-Bangla Group, a United States-Bangladeshi JV company. US-Bangla Airlines operates Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 equipment. The carrier launched its first international service, on Dhaka-Kathmandu sector, on 15-May-2016.
